Anything that sounds island-ish is capable of winning our hearts here at the Solomon Review.

After going through some of the latest Solomon Islands jams these past weeks, we couldn't help but settle for "No Duim Osem", a tropical island dance hopeful by Chris Young, Wamz, Ritchy, and the fantastic Goony Ju as our track of the week.

Featured on "No Duim Osem" is the fantastic Goony Ju. Picture: Goony Ju Facebook page.

The song is everything that a simple island tune worth dancing to, should possess. From the beat to the playful Solomon Islands Pidgin lyric, it is not hard to see why fans of Solomon Islands music will love this track.

In the Solomon Islands pidgin, "No Duim Osem" can be best translated as "Don't Be Like That" which in the song carries the pleading words of a lover to the love of his life.

We hope you will enjoy listening to the words of this beautiful song as we did.
