We are delighted to announce that an official music video of 'Lo Garivera' started premiering on YouTube and Facebook late yesterday afternoon.

'Lo Garivera', which is currently our pick for the 'Track of the Week' title this week is nicely presented on screen by Scar Reeze, a Honiara-based video producer.

In the clip, Milkay opens the show with a line that portrays a man waiting in vain on a girl at the fascinating Garivera pub. As the sun sets, the peaceful atmosphere at Garivera starts to light up with excitement as the party mood begins to kick in. We assume that in the video, Milkay must be really upset ( at least that's what the lyric is implying) that his girl doesn't turn up and that the hyped-up night is going to unfold without his sweetheart by his side.

As Young Davie, Yung Jin, and Mi Santana join the song a little later, Scar Reeze continues to amaze his viewers by taking them around the neatly arranged Garivera pub, showcasing the bar, its forever smiling bartenders plus the merry-looking clients, who appear to be having the time of their lives already.

The guy in waiting (Milkay) doesn't get to meet her girl after all because she fails to turn up. The reason for her absence remains a mystery, although we may possibly blame it on a lockdown which is one of the words on Mi Santana's line of rhymes towards the end of the song. The fact that the girl could be seen standing motionless in an unidentified location in parts of the video signifies someone in deep thought. We might be wrong but we would like to believe that maybe Scar Reeze is trying to tell us that the girl is contemplating what excuse to use in justification for her absence from the scheduled meeting.

But unexpectedly, the show at Garivera goes uninterrupted despite the girl's failure to turn up. Ironically, Milkay still has the right mood to strut his stuff at that time as he could be seen enjoying the night with his three comrades by singing and dancing away to the beat of 'Lo Garivera'- an act which we think could be more realistic had the director tweaked his script to portray something more reactive on Milkay's part. For an instant, showing a devastated Milkay whose girlfriend just failed to honor an appointment to meet up.

Despite that, Scar Reeze's decision to tell the story of Garivera using a wide variety of camera angles, superb color grading, and the occasional use of slow but steady motions, will definitely market Garivera Pub as a cool spot to party for so many years to come.

Garivera seems to be a very beautiful location judging from what is presented in the video. With the green palm trees in the backdrop plus the party-like atmosphere at the bar, which also seems to have a lot of impressive party lights, this video is a superb promotion for this nightspot and of course, it should give those who haven't been there one huge reason to pay it a visit.
