This song may have been composed about the 2021 riots in Honiara, but the line that says "mi warim tomorrow" (I'm worried about tomorrow) is very much relevant to what may be lurking at the back of every Solomon Islander's mind as their capital city, Honiara, continues to take center stage amidst the ongoing political instability in the archipelago.

"Soreh Honiara" is a powerful song that talks about the uncertainty surrounding the recent chaos in the island nation which saw a huge part of Honiara's shopping district razed to the ground by angry protesters.

Produced by 50LO, the song is released on YouTube with a video clip that shows pictures of the infamous 2021 riot in Honiara.

While the song attempts to educate citizens about patriotism, it is equally emotional in a way as it abruptly states the very obvious, "what does tomorrow hold for Honiara?"

To an ordinary Solomon Islander, the song will find little difficulty getting the message across as it is sung entirely in the Solomon Islands Pidgin.
