Solomon Islands' uprising star, Ismuki, is on fire!

After his hit single "Slowly" was released in 2019, the Western province dude used the huge following he had at that time to make more music.

"Qole Lauru" is one of his latest singles,  and we honestly think that it's another force to be reckoned with besides "Slowly". When it first hit the local radio stations, it became an instant favorite amongst listeners. It even topped the TOP9@9 chart on Paoa FM a few weeks ago.

Quite excitingly, fans of Ismuki were treated to a new music video of "Qole Lauru" on the 12th of November, 2020.

By Pacific standards, the video is a hit on YouTube taking into account the fact that over 22k viewers have watched it in just less than a month.

We fell in love with the video when we first saw it and felt that it was nothing but amazing.

"Qole Lauru", which is another way to say "a girl from Choiseul", is harmoniously captivating. While Ismuki continues to harness his taste of sweet island music, it is encouraging to note that he is reaching out to team up with other unheard-of local talents.

"We fell in love with the video when we first saw it and felt that it was nothing but amazing."

In "Qole Lauru", Ismuki collaborates with the part Malaita and Guadalcanal songster, "Shanty".

Directed and produced by the talented Honiara-based filmmaker, Dr. Zo Eugene Olangi of Tekpiksapasifika, the video was shot at a location on East Guadalcanal.

Have a listen to this beautiful song, or better still watch its music video to see what we are talking about.
