Last week, Cottsii and Chello, the 2017 Solo Icon winner, released a brand new single that got a lot of people talking.

Entitled "Body Language", this track is perhaps one of the most modern yet refreshing original songs to have ever come out from the Solomon Islands.

The song's modern taste received a lot of praises from online commentators and others are saying that this is a sure sign that Solomon Islanders are beginning to break musical boundaries.

It will be total flattery to say that we've chosen "Body Language" for its lyrics because that's not where its strength lays, but we were swept off our feet by the flare of the song, which we think, is its thoughtful arrangement, and not to mention, the jaw-dropping vocals that come with it.

Cottsii's RNB voice somehow has this sweet tropical feel to it in the song and what more could be better than combining it with Chello's "let-it-all-out" style of singing.

Produced by Dee Beatz, this track has perhaps allowed the Honiara-based producer to showcase some of his production skills in the industry.

Have a listen to "Body Language" and see for yourself why we choose it as our track of the week.
