Ismuki's hit song "Slowly" is by far the fastest-growing original song on the internet by an indigenous Solomon Islander.
After its release on YouTube in July 2019, it only took 5 months for it to reach 1 million views. Interestingly, the figures are showing no signs of slowing down, quite an irony taking into account the song's title. As I write, the number of viewers has already surpassed 2 million and is still counting.
The song features the amazing Chris Young and another uprising island songster, Stegga Bwoy. Slow but sweet are the right words to describe this reggae-infused gem. After a hard day's work, this sweet tropical beat will put your mind to rest. It's going to be even cooler listening to it with a cold beer in hand if you're celebrating an achievement.
